Fatigue

Fatigue accumulated over the shift.

Compares the worker's heart rate with their resting reference over the shift and warns when wear accumulates.

About the risk

Fatigue

Fatigue is the decline in physical and mental capacity that builds up with long shifts, insufficient sleep, night work and sustained effort. It reduces attention and reaction time well before the worker notices.

When driving, operating machinery or performing critical tasks, a single lapse of attention is enough for an accident. Tracking physiological signals against each person's own reference lets you act before the error: a break, a task rotation, a talk with the manager.

What this scenario detects

Tracks wear over the shift and warns before attention drops.

When to use

  • Long shifts with sustained effort or attention.

When not to use

  • Short shifts with no relevant effort.

Examples in the field

  • FleetsDrivers on 12-hour schedules.

How it works

  1. 01

    The sensor measures

The worker wears a compatible wearable sensor during the shift.

  2. 02

    The platform detects

The platform compares the signals with the worker's personal reference and the scenario rules, and raises the alert at the configured intensity level.

  3. 03

    The team handles the alert

The alert shows up in PredictVIEW's Live operation. The manager records the handling and the worker receives the guidance in the app.

Compatible sensors

  • i.safe MOBILE IS-SW 1.1
  • Dersalis app on the phone
