Vibration
Vibration exposure.
Tracks whole-body vibration exposure time and warns when the shift limit approaches.
About the risk
Vibration
Whole-body vibration reaches the worker through the seat or floor of heavy machinery and off-road vehicles. Prolonged exposure is linked to lower back pain, fatigue and spinal injuries.
Exposure limits depend on the time accumulated over the shift. Tracking that time for each worker helps plan rotations before the limit is reached.
What this scenario detects
Tracks whole-body vibration exposure on machines and vehicles.
When to use
- Heavy machinery and off-road vehicles.
When not to use
- Roles with no exposure to machines or vehicles.
Examples in the field
- MiningOff-road truck operators on long shifts.
How it works
- 01
The sensor measures
The worker wears a compatible wearable sensor during the shift.
- 02
The platform detects
The platform compares the signals with the worker's personal reference and the scenario rules, and raises the alert at the configured intensity level.
- 03
The team handles the alert
The alert shows up in PredictVIEW's Live operation. The manager records the handling and the worker receives the guidance in the app.
